چکیده
High levels of soil salinity can cause substantial decline in growth and productivity crops worldwide, thus representing a major threat to global agriculture. In recent years, engineered nanoparticles (NPs) have been deemed as promising alternative combating abiotic stress factors, such salinity. this context, the present study was designed explore potential cerium oxide (CeO2NPs) alleviating salt grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Flame Seedless) cuttings. Specifically, interaction between CeO2 NPs (25, 50 100 mg L−1) (25 75 mM NaCl) evaluated by assaying an array agronomic, physiological, analytical biochemical parameters. Treatments with NPs, general, alleviated adverse impacts (75 significantly improving relevant agronomic traits grapevine. ameliorated chlorophyll damage under high Furthermore, presence attenuated salinity-induced damages indicated lower proline, MDA EL; however, H2O2 content not stress. Additionally, caused increases enzymatic activities GP, APX SOD, compared control plants. Similar conditions, all concentrations triggered activity, while highest concentration increased GP activity. However, did modify SOD Considering mineral nutrient profile, Na Cl well Na/K ratio, it decreased K, P Ca contents. Nevertheless, lead significant alterations Na, K salt-stressed Taken together, current findings suggest that could be employed salt-stress agents

Oxidative stress homeostasis in grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.)
Plants can maintain growth and reproductive success by sensing changes in the environment and reacting through mechanisms at molecular, cellular, physiological, and developmental levels. Each stress condition prompts a unique response although some overlap between the reactions to abiotic stress (drought, heat, cold, salt or high light) and to biotic stress (pathogens) does occur. A common feat...

salinity, as an abiotic stress, causes significant losses in horticultural production. future of grape production, as one of the most important economical horticultural fruits, depends on breeding programs and using salt tolerant rootstocks. the aim of this study was to investigate the salinity tolerance and the distribution of ions associated with salinity in six genotypes and varieties of gra...
متن کاملMetabolic Consequences of Infection of Grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) cv. “Modra frankinja” with Flavescence Dorée Phytoplasma
Flavescence dorée, caused by the quarantine phytoplasma FDp, represents the most devastating of the grapevine yellows diseases in Europe. In an integrated study we have explored the FDp-grapevine interaction in infected grapevines of cv. "Modra frankinja" under natural conditions in the vineyard. In FDp-infected leaf vein-enriched tissues, the seasonal transcriptional profiles of 14 genes selec...

Factors like slow and seasonal multiplication and infection with pathogens have constrained the use of conventional plant propagation methods, thus lead to development of new and novel methods of propagation like in vitro multiplication which ensures the production of virus and disease free elite planting material in large numbers. In the present work, in vitro regeneration protocol has been st...
متن کاملChloroplast genome diversity in Portuguese grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) cultivars.
Grapevine chloroplast (cp) DNA diversity was analysed for the first time through amplification and digestion of fragments of the large single copy (LSC) region by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism methodology and also by amplification of three microsatellite loci, previously described as polymorphic in grapevine. Thirty-eight grapevine cultivars collected mainly...
